yay, Charlie's back~!
(and so am I .. kinda .. still catching up w/ rl busyness)

with your painting of Sue Aside I can really see what Chicken meant (by bride from KillBill), she looks elegant and deadly, with a killing look in those eyes

lovely work on the folds of cloth, I like the way you play with the different fabrics, both loose and figure-hugging :}

Hard to focus when I'm sick.

@Blade: I keep getting thrown off because you're the only snowman ಠ__ಠ

@Smilin': Was wondering where you were at.

Oh wow, that mesmer is gorgeous. Her dress looks so soft and realistic and her hair is just amazing. I'm reminded of Amy from the Soul Calibur fighting games... Same hair curls, noblewoman and rapier thing going on.

Can't wait to see what you come up with as a background.

It's looking really good Charlie. I don't think I can even draw/paint like that when not sick. Hope you feel better.

The pose looks great, as does the armor detailing and the hair.

Been coughing so hard that I can taste blood in the back of my throat. Fantastic.

Last one before I add in the remaining background architecture and final lighting.

Awesome! Love the little bruise on her nose.

EDIT: If you ever need a female assassin, let me know!

I've totaly fallen in love with her front legg Something about it really intrigues me, its just like.. perfect. Just wondering about her pose and movement. When I look at it at first it looks like she is standing, being pretty and all like the ritualist dances when she dances, her chest is moving, aswell are her arms, but they are almost standing still at the same time. But then when I look at her legs, the front legg looks like it standing, but the other legg makes me wonder.. Firstly I think the panty thing is a bit too low and the leg is a bit too thick, but more important, its going backwards alot, and then we just see that part, not the rest. It doenst really make clear to me what she's doing. Is she leaping? Is she like moving, like with a foxtrot or something? Maybe adding in her feet gives more clarity.
Btw flipped, more zoomed out and with a background really made it look even better, looks so great so far^^

And get better soon.. Coughing blood doesnt sound like the nicest thing to do. Is it like a dramatic cold or something else? *Slurpslurp* Coughsyrup!

EDIT: When you are in photoshop (I only assume Charlie uses that) if you go to image>rotate canvas> flip horizontal, it flips the complete image.

Yeah she was flipped. Artists usually do that to make sure that the drawing is not distorted as well. I have to admit I tend to forget that >_>

It's looking awesome Charlie but don't forget to rest and get well soon

@Tommy, the "panty thing" is part of the armor, I don't really think its panties and I'm not really sure what it is but here's the ref picture: http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/4...rbridepics.jpg

It's looking great so far, and sorry to hear about your bloody coughing Charliepie. ><

That's looking quite awesome Charlie. I really like the movement but you might wanna check out her left leg. I can see the hip should be dropped thus the leg a bit lower but it looks strange somehow. I can't put my finger on it. But that's the only crit so you're doing really well with this one. I can't wait to see it finished.

I think it's that the leg really isn't beneath her. To me she looks like she'd be doing the splits in a moment, because I can't see that either leg is supporting her. I think either pulling the leg forward or straightening the knee a little bit would work.

Other than that, absolutely stunning.
